ByBriskeby started with a simple observation: the best skincare rituals in the world — gua sha, facial rolling, slow, deliberate routines — come from East Asian traditions practiced for centuries. We didn't want to reinvent that. We wanted to make it easy to actually do.
Every product in our shop is chosen for one reason: it turns a 5-minute pocket of your day into something that feels like a small ritual, not another chore. No 12-step routines, no shelf full of products you'll never finish — just a few things, done well.
We're named after Briskeby — a quiet, historic neighborhood in the west end of Oslo, where the idea for this shop first started. The products themselves are sourced from East Asia; the thinking behind them is Norwegian.
We're a small, independent shop. We source carefully, we're honest about where things come from and how long they take to arrive, and we stand behind what we sell — including a real 14-day right of return on everything.
